Chaddock supports children and youth who have experienced severe trauma and who struggle with attachment-related difficulties, along with their families. Its Developmental Trauma and Attachment Program (DTAP) is the core offering, and the organization describes itself as a leader in supporting children and families dealing with issues related to attachment and developmental trauma. Applications are accepted all year long and programs are individualized. The residential program focuses on helping children restore the ability to form trusting relationships. Family Coaching is offered in packages. In addition to clinical programming, Chaddock operates accredited special education schools at two locations. The main school location serves children living on the Chaddock campus as well as youth from the surrounding area who have not experienced success in traditional public school settings.
